Location: Jabalpur

Position: Fulltime (Work from Office)

Timings: 10:30 to 6:30 PM. Monday to Saturday.

Job Summary:

As a Accountant at MBG CARD we are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, and providing valuable financial insights. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Record and classify financial transactions in ledgers and journals.

Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.

Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Summarize and interpret financial information for decision-makers.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budgetary performance and provide variance analysis.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Prepare and file tax returns, staying updated on tax laws.

Audit and Assurance: Facilitate internal and external audits.

Prepare audit schedules and support auditors.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.

Analyze trends, costs, and revenues.

Accounting Software and Technology:

Use accounting software for efficient record-keeping.

Stay updated on advancements in accounting technology.

Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to accounting standards and ethical guidelines. Identify and address discrepancies or non-compliance issues.

Communication: Collaborate with other departments for financial information. Communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Skills:

Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Tally.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
