Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. This is a mid-level position requiring 3 to 5 years of experience. As the Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This is a full-time position based in Delhi, Delhi, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant with 3 to 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including GST and TDS
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as Tally.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Ability to analyze data and provide useful insights.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in tax filing.
- Perform bank and account reconciliation.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Process and record financial transactions in Tally or similar software.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and controls.
- Provide support in financial analysis and reporting as required.
