Udhyam Learning Foundation (Udhyam) is on a mission towards Making Bharat Entrepreneurial. We believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful way to channelize an individual's potential. Entrepreneurship enables agency and allows an individual to work on their strengths while creating value for the world.

Our programs:

• Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted :24,00,000 learners across 12 Indian states.
• Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled up to a 27% income uplift for 5000+ entrepreneurs.

The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path.

About -Sarvo-Udhyam, Youth Business Program Alumni :

Udhyam Learning Foundation has been deeply engaged in enabling Entrepreneurship Education for close to 2 million Government School students across India. With a strong footprint across 12 states and growing, Udhyam Shiksha's Entrepreneurial Mindset Curriculum and Youth Business Projects programs have scaled far and wide.

While the current learning journey with students is designed for 4 years (Grades 9 to 12), graduating students of Udhyam's'Youth Business Projects' have recognized the need to continue their entrepreneurial journey beyond their school project. They felt the need to deepen their exposure to the various facets of entrepreneurship, through 'exposure visits to companies', mentoring sessions and other forms of support which help them sustain their journey. In essence, students voiced the need for a 'structured support system where they can share their learnings, challenges and elicit support and guidance to address their challenges.

'Sarvo-Udhyam' was born in response to the above need. Sarvo-Udhyam is conceived as a National Alumni Platform that provides the 'Student Entrepreneur' community with a structured support ecosystem to help them sustain and take their entrepreneurial journeys forward.

We are looking for a Senior Specialist, who can work with 'Sarvo-Udhyam' , which will be a student-run platform with chapters across different states of India. He/She will be part of the core team and would be working towards building a strong and supportive network of student entrepreneurs that facilitates learning and growth opportunities to all the current and new members. He/She needs to design and facilitate engagement activities for the community, some of them are mentioned below :

Roles and responsibilities:

• Alumni Database Management:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of program alumni, including contact information, business details, support and career progress.
• Regularly update and organise alumni records to ensure accuracy.
• Communication and Outreach:
• Design and execute a communication strategy to keep alumni informed about program updates, events, and opportunities.
• Utilise various channels, including newsletters, social media, and email, to engage and connect with program alumni.
• Facilitating support on key identified areas, as below (Not limited to these)-
• Peer learning
• Mentorship and Guidance support
• Compliance and business service support
• Exploring Incubation pathways for Businesses
• Creating internship, Apprenticeship and scholarship opportunities
• Success Story Showcasing:
• Identify and showcase success stories of program alumni through various channels, including newsletters, social media, and program materials.
• Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote alumni achievements.

Skills, Experience and Mindsets:

• Graduate from any field
• 6+ years of relevant experience working in Alumni Engagement work
• Open to travel based on requirement
• Excellent communication (Written and Oral) skills in English and Hindi.
• Mission First: Must be driven by the larger vision and mission of transforming the entrepreneurial culture within the state through our programs and beyond.
• Zoom in Zoom Out - Comfortable working with a diverse group of individuals to meet project objectives within established timelines; can effectively move from strategy to details in a seamless way.
• Bias for action - Hands on with operations, willing to pilot and experiment with different strategies, interact regularly with Youth Entrepreneurs and various stakeholders
• Ownership - High degree of accountability for the quality and timeliness of the outcomes of the program, with high degree of ownership for highs and lows.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
• Use of technology, social media and other digital platforms will be added advantage
• Comfortable with MS Office with proficiency in Excel analytics
