Job description
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
· Provide technical leadership and Subject Matter Expertise around UI development
· Ensure compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture
· Design and document the software implementation in the Software Design Specification
· Perform design and code reviews to ensure architectural alignment and quality
· Support and maintain production digital applications by resolving production issues, tuning performance and coordinating troubleshooting efforts
· Prepare time estimates, identifies and mitigate project risks
· Maintain relationships and collaborate with other domains including architecture, business analysis, infrastructure, quality control, and security
· Implementing requirements based on Low Level Design & Coding Standards identified & requirements from User stories
· Design Technical Architecture of UI Framework along with reusable modules
· Setting technical direction for front end development
Critical knowledge and experience
· Minimum of 5 years of UI development experience with strong hands-on skills, solid understanding of UI Architecture and design patterns
Extensive experience with HTML5, JavaScript, SCSS, CSS3
Familiar with GIT
Experience of content management platforms, particularly AEM
Experience in code review, unit testing and providing technical support to the team
Deep knowledge of browser compatibility
Flexibility, energy and ability to work well with others in a virtual, geographically dispersed team environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills - working with stakeholders and product owners
· Excellent stakeholder management skills
· Ability to multi-task and run parallel streams of work in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable presenting in front of key stakeholders
· Very quick learner with a positive/can do attitude
· Ability to make key decisions quickly and with confidence
Strongly desired
· Experience working in AEM development teams
· Been a part of UI governance forums/community
· Proven experience working on large scale digital/transformation projects
· 3+ years' digital experience (Web, digital channels, marketing)
· Experience across e-commerce platforms and technologies Business/context
· Experience in delivering across various project methodologies (Agile & Waterfall)
· Creation of components based on design with pixel precision
Responsive Design
Accessibility Knowledge (a11y)
Familiarity of Jira
Nice to have
Knowledge of React, jQuery, RWD, HTL/Sightly
Experience of using DevOps platforms such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins
Solid knowledge of the entire application development life cycle including configuration management practices and procedures
Strong understanding of software design patterns and methodology
