Institute of Physics (IOP), Bhubaneswar, India invites applications for Project Associate/Project Scientist/Long term visitor position in the High Energy Physics theory group. The positions are for six months. Initially this will be given for three months and can be extended for additional three more months. Depending on performance and availability of funds this can further be extended upto December, 2024.
The candidate is expected to have expertise in one or more of these following research areas -

Tenure of Fellowship:Six months (3+3 months). Immediate joining is possible from March onwards.
Fellowship:i) As per DAE norm for Project associate (with phd degree) ranging from 49,000/- to 67,000/-+HRA . For applicants without a Ph.D degree, this will be equivalent to senior project associate (42,000 Rs/month). HRA will be given as per norms. ii) for long term visiting position, the fellowship will be decided as per IOP norm.
Eligibility: Applicants should have either a Ph.D degree or submitted the Ph.D thesis at the time of joining.
