Job Description:
SUMMARY:
To understand the requirements captured during the workshops by the business analyst. Work closely with the development team to create the integrations using best practice methods and spokes where possible. Input into design conversations with the development team as well as the client.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
- Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills while interacting with customers as a senior ServiceNow Integrations SME.
- Provide creative solutions to resolve business problems via agreed customer requirements on the ServiceNow platform, utilising existing Out of the Box capabilities (spokes where required).
DEVELOPMENT SKILLS:
- Have a strong and proven background in developing on the ServiceNow platform
- Have a strong and proven background in delivering on the ServiceNow platform
- Have a strong and proven background in developing large ServiceNow Catalogues
- Have a strong and proven background in integrating various 3rd party tools with ServiceNow using REST or SOAP
- Have proven experience in using and understanding ServiceNow spokes.
- Develop the technical solutions, implement them, and perform the relevant component integration tests
- Able to work closely within a mixed development team that may include external development capability and ensure that code and update sets are managed in line with ServiceNow best practices
- Integrating 3rd party tools with ServiceNow portal and Request Management

- EMPLOYEE RESPONSABILIES :
- Build and own development sprints, user stories, technical development stories and any technical build documentation needed as part of a customer engagement.
- Build a robust solution for the client which takes into account upgradability, scalability and maintainability.
- Work closely with the Solution architect and deliver HLD & LLD for the proposed solution
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience as part of a professional services organisation
- ServiceNow implementation experience preferred
- Experience in integrations using ServiceNow Spokes
- Experience in integrations via REST
- Success driving complex issues through analysis and resolution
- Experience of working collaboratively as part of a team or in a matrix environment
- ServiceNow certifications would be beneficial
- Knowledge of key ITSM processes
- Experience with development and implementation of core ServiceNow ITSM modules
- Request management
- Service Portal
- Experience with scoped application development.
- 3rd party integration experience with the ServiceNow platform using:
- REST
- SOAP
- SFTP
- MID
- Familiar with the following languages:
- HTML
- CSS
- XML
- JavaScript
- AJAX
- ANGULAR
Additional skills and experience should include:
Implementations of ServiceNow in multiple modules:
- Core competency to CIS level in at least one additional ServiceNow module to ITSM
- Service Portal design, implementation, and management
- Integrating Request Management with 3rd party tools.
- Courses:
- ITIL Foundation
- ServiceNow Administrator
- ServiceNow Integration experience with 3rd party tools
- Certified Implementation Specialist (in one mainline area)

- Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols such as TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST.
