Position Overview:
We're on the lookout for a Multifunctional Fashion Designer & Problem Solver to be the creative powerhouse and strategic thinker within our startup. This role transcends design; it's about identifying challenges, innovating solutions, and driving our brand's evolution through inventive problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the ideation and design of trendsetting athleisure collections, infusing them with innovative solutions to consumer needs and industry challenges.
- Innovate beyond aesthetics – delve into material technologies, multifunctional designs, and sustainability to address evolving market demands.
- Act as a problem-solving catalyst, identifying pain points in production, supply chain, or consumer experiences, and creatively solving them.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, serving as a strategic partner to engineering, marketing, and production teams to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
Requirements:
- A problem-solving maestro with a Fashion Design degree or equivalent, adept at unravelling complex challenges in multifunctional roles.
- A proven record (X years) of not just designing but also engineering solutions and driving impactful changes in athleisure or activewear.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD) coupled with an innate curiosity to explore innovative materials and design functionalities.
- A portfolio showcasing your problem-solving prowess and your ability to seamlessly integrate solutions into cutting-edge designs.
- A collaborative mindset and a knack for navigating ambiguities in a fast-paced startup environment.
