ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

Join SITA's Project Management & Delivery Practice and contribute to supporting the Project Management community with best practices, training & learning capabilities, processes, and tools for efficient project delivery. You will be working closely with client facing project managers from all geographies and portfolios. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and engage with individuals from various backgrounds will be crucial to your success in this role.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing a blend of business-as-usual activities within the Practice Team and taking the lead on internal projects aimed at enhancing training and learning programs, communication, and process documentation.

Tools

  • Lead a project to redesign the SITA Project Management SharePoint portal, overseeing both the design and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage the team documentation SharePoint repository.
  • Perform daily tasks on KnackHQ, including Salesforce data export/import.
  • Handle the management and debugging of tool exception error messages, particularly those related to PM tool sync messages with Data Repository
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn additional tools, such as Salesforce and Power BI.

Reporting

  •   Generate various customer-facing project performance reports and maintain dashboards.
  • Assist in financial management reporting.
  • Provide support for audits on customer-facing projects, collaborating with GEO/Portfolio PMs to address identified governance misalignments.

Training

  • Develop, publish, and maintain the yearly project management training agenda on the portal.
  • Collaborate with training vendors on logistics for external training programs and manage the procurement process.
  • Administer updates to the SITA Project Management Curriculum quarterly or as needed.
  • Support the onboarding programmed for new project managers.

Documentation

  • Proof and publish training and process documentation.
  • Lead a project to enhance process and training documents, migrating them from word static word documents into an interactive online format.

Communication

  • Manage global PM portal communications.
  • Assist the team in establishing PM forums to connect with the project management community, share information about the team's work plan, upcoming events, and collect feedback on community requirements.
  • Lead a project to establish communication governance for the team aligned with corporate communication style & guidelines.

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Ideally you have a track record in Project Management, managing projects . Optimally you have experience with an IT solutions or airline industry solutions provider.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and the project life cycle.
  • Basic MS SharePoint design skills.
  • Excellent English writing and proofreading skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation skills.

 

NICE-TO-HAVE:

 

  • Formal project management training and certification - PMP desired but not mandatory
