JobRole: Territory Manager
Experience: 7-10 Years
Location: Coimbatore
Overview:
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all
business activities within a designated geographic area. Your primary objective is to
drive sales, build strong relationships with clients, and ensure the overall growth and
profitability of the territory. You will work closely with a team of sales representatives,
provide guidance, and develop strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Some important responsibilities of Territory manager:
1) People management: Manages team of gold loan managers in entire city
2) Business development: Involves actively in marketing and business development
aspects on
field
3) Assists Gold loan managers in visiting customers house for critical cases
4) Drives the team and handles their roadblocks
5) Assists gold loan managers/GLFH in lead generations, BTL marketing
6) Serve as bridge between HO and team
7) Motivate team
8) Ensure customer satisfactionSales Management:
● Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales
targets within the assigned territory.
● Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer
needs to identify business opportunities.
● Collaborate with the sales team to set individual and team sales targets,
providing guidance and support to achieve them.
Client Relationship Management:● Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively
seeking new business opportunities.
● Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs, address
concerns, and provide solutions.
● Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts within the territory.
Team Leadership:
● Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team within the
territory.
● Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews,
and provide constructive feedback to team members.
● Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes individual
and collective success.
Market Expansion:
● Identify and evaluate potential areas for business expansion within the
territory.
● Develop and execute plans to enter new markets, launch new products,
and increase overall market share.
Budget and Forecasting:
● Prepare and manage budgets for the territory, ensuring cost-effective
operations and resource allocation.
● Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the senior
management team.
Compliance and Reporting:
● Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal
requirements within the territory.
● Generate and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends,
and competitor activities.Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
● Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a territorial role.
● Strong leadership and team management skills.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
● Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets and objectives.
● Familiarity with the industry and market trends within the assigned territory
