About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer with at least one year of experience to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer at our company you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure primarily focusing on AWS. Your responsibilities will include automating deployments managing application versions and ensuring the high availability and reliability of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
AWS Management: Comfortably work with various AWS services to deploy manage and operate scalable highly available and faulttolerant systems.
Automation & Deployment: Automate deployment processes ensuring seamless and consistent delivery of applications to the cloud environment.
Version Control: Proficient in Git manage code versions and maintain a streamlined workflow for code integration and deployment.
Backups & Restoration: Responsible for the creation management and testing of backups; adept in restoring applications in case of failures or data loss.
Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor the health of applications promptly addressing any issues and optimizing performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to integrate new features and ensure continuous delivery and deployment are smooth and efficient.
Documentation: Document all processes including setup backup recovery procedures and operational best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a DevOps role.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in AWS cloud services.
Strong understanding of Git and version control systems.
Experience in automated deployments and continuous integration/delivery.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash).
Problemsolving: Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Certifications in AWS or other cloud platforms.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
