Seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is proficient in
Oracle's PL/SQL programming language and possesses a strong understanding of database design
and optimization. As a PL/SQL Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our
database applications, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability. Responsibilities for PL
SQL developer
ï'· Create, optimize, and troubleshoot complex stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages to
support data manipulation and reporting needs.
ï'· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators and software engineers,
to ensure seamless integration and optimal database performance.
ï'· Participate in database design and schema definition, offering insights to improve data organization
and access patterns.
ï'· Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing to enhance database
responsiveness.
ï'· Identify and address database-related issues, such as data integrity, security, and compliance.
ï'· Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into
effective database solutions.
ï'· Document database design, code, and processes for reference and knowledge sharing.
ï'· Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices to contribute to
continuous improvement.
ï'· Design logical and physical databases or review description of changes to database design to
understand how changes to be made affect physical database (how data is stored in terms of physical
characteristics such as location, amount of space, and access method)
ï'· Development and programming in PL/SQL technology
ï'· Design and develop multiple reporting applications
ï'· Design, develop and implement ETL processes to update the data warehouse
ï'· Design, develop, and maintain applications, reports and data structures needed for line of business
applications in an Oracle 11G, 12C and above environments Design, develop, and maintain efficient
and reliable PL/SQL code for database applications. Qualifications for PL SQL developer
ï'· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ï'· Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer or in a similar role.
ï'· Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming.
ï'· Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational database concepts.
ï'· Familiarity with database design principles and normalization techniques.
ï'· Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
ï'· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
ï'· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
ï'· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
