Position: Full-time

Location: Bengaluru/Gurugram/Hyderabad/Coimbatore/Chennai/Mumbai.

Position Overview

Annalect India, is looking for an Associate Director level UX/UI Designer to join our UX/UI team. Applicants should have a passion for simplicity while solving complex problems, user-centered design, data concepts, and Agile development. You will be working within our UX/UI design team and development team to deliver clean, clear and user-friendly experiences for our broader organization. As an Associate Director you will be responsible for the management and oversight of the design team and overall experience of multiple web applications and other engagements. This position requires you to be self-sufficient, a leader and one who takes the initiative to understand business needs, project needs and be able to direct others to achieve those goals. As the lead of this team, it will be your responsibility to ensure its alignment with already established UX/UI standards, define exceptions and communicate those to both the team and stakeholders. With each engagement, you will need to define the design needs and allocate the team resources as appropriate, help manage deliverables and timelines etc. A successful candidate will not only have the knowledge based in the design function they are leading but also have the ability set process and create documentation to support process, standards and best practices.

This is an exciting role and would entail you to

· Ensure team upholds established standards and define discipline process for all design engagements.

· Create documentation around process to be shared cross projects.

· Review & discuss with internal and external stakeholders to define both business and user needs for each engagement.

· Collaborate on overall product/engagement roadmaps.

· Oversee quality, standards and design solutions across all engagements.

· Manage and mentor team members to accomplish business deliverables.

· Based on cross engagement requirements, align on prioritization of work and allocate resources based on design needs, project complexity and organizational goals.

· Represent the discipline in corporate initiatives and external professional meeting.

· Be proficient in presenting information and delivered solutions to various stakeholders.

This may be the right role for you if you have

· Must have design portfolio links on resume or application.

· 10+ years of working experience as a UX/UI Designer with at least 5 years of management experience.

· Demonstrated experience working with client and internal stakeholders and conduct sessions guided by design principal.

· Demonstrated experience using user centered design principal.

· Experience in implementing solutions adhering to accessibility guidelines.

· Experience in creating processes of implementing design (whiteboarding, persona mapping, wireframing, etc.)

· Collaborated and offered recommendations to product owners on the roadmap owing to multiple incremental UX milestones.

· Experience working in agile teams, working alongside stakeholders, product owners and developers to implement solutions.

· Experience in assessing the design maturity of products, solutions and teams and recommending roadmaps to achieve maturity.

· Experience in providing accurate estimates of design related work & outputs.

· Experience in helping the QA team in documenting and assessing the accuracy of the design integrated with the solution.

· Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC and Microsoft office

· Strong, effective interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)

· Experience working with data concepts, business intelligence and/or ad tech.

· Experience working in an agile environment.

· A proven ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Good to have skills

· Experience in process development.

· Knowledge of Power app design/development.

· Knowledge of best practices for digital user accessibility.

· Knowledge of CSS, HTML, responsive design, other front-end technologies also a plus.

· Intellectual curiosity and drive; self-starters will thrive in this position.

· A formal education in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, User Experience or related field.
