Molex seeks a dynamic and Leanxa0Leader for Molex Supply Chain Value Improvement xa0to enable end-to-end value creation for customers, Molex divisions, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker known for enabling and implementing creative solutions and thinking outside the box, someone with experience building relationships, solving complex supply chain problems, and collaborating with others to drive value. This leader will effectively seek and share knowledge and implement an end-to-end supply chain value creation execution playbook.

What You Will Do

As a Value Creation Leader (VCL), you play a critical role in the end-to-end supply chain, including developing annual value improvement programs and a team culture focused on lean engagement development and operational execution. The VCL is ultimately accountable for every aspect of supply chain value improvement- from design, source, make, plan, and delivery. Also, this leader will ensure lean, Six Sigma, network optimization training, developing, and managing the people, developing and executing the plan, implementing and improving the processes, and maximizing performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs u2013 including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost).

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Driving lean and Six Sigma culture within the organization so every associate feels empowered to eliminate waste.

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Safety & Quality: Drive proactive safety & quality observations u2013 provide training as required. Prioritize safety daily u2013 ensuring associates can stay safe while performing daily functions with focus on implementing robust countermeasures to reduce or eliminate the risk. Comply with and monitor 5S in the workplace. Complete routine value improvement audits at cadence to improve productivity and operational performance.

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Delivery & execution: Accountable for weekly operating schedule meeting cost, on-time in full deliveries, revenue maximization, freight reduction, etc. Problem solves for cost-saving misses u2013 owning or assisting with problem definition, root cause investigation, storming countermeasures through sustaining countermeasures. Strategically work with the business and division and select set of customers to improve value positions and process efficiencies. Productivity: Owns problem-solving around headcount vs. output to ensure we can hit delivery schedule while optimizing cost.

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Lead (directly or indirectly) the team to implement labor, conversion, and other cost-reduction projects and process improvements. Hold the team accountable to output expectations and collaborate to ensure value is maximized.

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Owns the continuous improvement (MBS u2013 Molex Business System) culture for the value stream, including Owning Daily Management (SQDIP) u2013 ensuring metrics and targets align with business/plant objectives.

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Owning the Problem-Solving Process (PSP) to understand gaps in value stream (and each entity/node) performance. Identifying waste and trends from daily management to develop Kaizen charters. Participating, leading, and facilitating kaizen events. Supporting and/or leading MBS/Fusion initiatives and championing projects that increase the overall effectiveness of the warehousing operation.

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Seizing the opportunities to train and develop BU, Division, and SC teams in the lean and value improvement methodologies and tools.

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Promote a diverse and inclusive learning environment. Take ownership of driving diversity and inclusion (D&I), including regular meetings around engagement action plans, advocating for associate resource groups, and other initiatives.

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Emphasize employee involvement and empower the team to deliver outstanding results. Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 xa0Bacheloru2019s degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Management (Engineering preferred - Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Materials Science)

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment with minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing supervisory experience, including involvement and knowledge of operations, supply chain, planning, receiving, shipping, and material flow

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Basic knowledge of accounting and financial practices in an operations/manufacturing environment and familiarity with leading and facilitating lean manufacturing Kaizen events (Daily Management, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Standard Work, etc.)

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Computer literacy u2013 MS Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.) & ERP Systems (SAP a plus)

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience with Llamasoft, Kinaxis, and Infor Control

xb7 xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0xa0 Experience in Asian markets with Indian and Mandarin language speaking literacy
