Job Description:

• Having detailed knowledge & hands on experience of HSE implementation at Hydro Site / Hydro Power plants / Construction site.  
• Able to conduct Behavioural Based Training to implement “SEE THE HAZARD” concept.
• Implement Andritz Safety Guidelines & Procedures at Sites.
• Organize Near miss awareness sessions & timely investigation of all reported near misses.
• Prepare and timely updating of Site HSE plan, Emergency Response Plan (ERP) & Fire Safety plan.
• Carryout risk assessment (HIRA & JSA) & safe lifting plan for all construction, installation, fabrication, assembly & commissioning related activities.
• Electrical Safety Assessment & implementation of LOTO.
• Work at height assessment including preparation of Rescue plans.
• Development of Legal Register, obtaining necessary permission/licenses & timely Compliance of statutory requirements at sites.
• Carryout periodic inspections of manual/power tools, lifting tackles and firefighting equipment in powerhouse.
• Conduct toolbox talk every day and regular safety trainings to create awareness.
• Conduct monthly safety committee meetings.
• Preparation of Accident, Incident, Near miss, safety statistics reports and MIS report.
• Conduct mock drills as per the ERP.
• Coordinate with client for various safety requirements at sites.
• Documentation of maintenance records as per ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 and Asset Management formats.

Qualification : B. Tech (Fire & Safety) + PGDIS from RLI / CLI + 12-14 years of relevant experience in Hydro Sites / Power Plant / Construction site.
