Overview
As a Pharmacist at our location in HSR Layout, Bangalore. you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate dispensing and management of medications, providing patient education, and fostering positive relationships with healthcare professionals. Your expertise in pharmaceuticals and patient care will directly impact the well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities - Dispense prescribed medications accurately
- Review and interpret physician orders
- Monitor drug therapies for interactions and contraindications
- Provide patient counseling and education on prescribed medications
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Participate in drug utilization reviews and formulary management
- Manage inventory and control of medications
- Conduct medication therapy management services
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Conduct immunization and wellness screenings
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient needs
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices
- Participate in staff training and development
- Oversee compounding and preparation of specialized medications
Required Qualifications - Doctor of Pharmacy (D.Pharm or B.Pharm) degree
- Active state pharmacist license
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics
- Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Commitment to ethical and professional conduct
- Experience in medication therapy management
- Understanding of drug utilization review processes
- Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations
