Experience - 4-10 years Data Governance Consultant The associate will be responsible for data discovery, classification, and creating a holistic view of our data landscape using any Data Governance tool. Key Responsibilities: · Implement and manage any Data Governance tool and integrate with other Azure data services. · Conduct data discovery to catalogue data sources across the organization. · Classify and label sensitive data through automated data discovery. · Ensure data compliance by creating and managing data lineage and ensuring data is governed according to policies. · Work with data stewards and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data cataloguing. · Develop and manage data governance policies and practices. · Train other team members and stakeholders on best practices for data governance functionalities. · Generate and review reports on data usage, lineage, and compliance. · Stay updated with the latest developments in any Data Governance tool and data governance best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience with any Data Governance tool. Strong understanding of data compliance regulations like GDPR, CCPA, etc. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with Azure data services and cloud security best practices is an added advantage. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Preferred: Data Governance certifications, especially those related to data services. Previous experience in a data governance leadership role. Familiarity with other Azure data tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, etc.Job tags
