Oracle BOM and Engineering Analyst
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Oracle BOM and Engineering Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and logical skills and have extensive experience working with Oracle Bill of Material (BOM) and Oracle Engineering (change order process). In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Oracle inventory module and supporting the Oracle PIM module.
Responsibilities - Utilize your expertise in Oracle BOM to manage and maintain the Bill of Material, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Lead the change order process within Oracle Engineering, facilitating seamless modifications to product designs and configurations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Oracle Inventory module, overseeing inventory control, stock management, and material movements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions within Oracle BOM, Engineering, and Inventory modules.
- Assist with Oracle PIM module, if required, by managing product information, attributes, and data synchronization.
- Acquire a good understanding of Oracle's configure-to-order process, encompassing CTO ordering, and its integration with manufacturing and procurement modules.
- Work closely with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure smooth and accurate order fulfillment and materials procurement.
- Adapt and learn Oracle Configurator development module as needed, supporting the implementation of complex product configuration rules and logic.
- Conduct regular data analysis and audits to maintain data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in the testing and validation of system changes and enhancements to ensure smooth and error-free implementations.
- Generate comprehensive reports to monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Oracle BOM and Oracle Engineering (change order process) is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Inventory module, with hands-on experience in inventory management.
- Familiarity with Oracle PIM module is a plus, and the willingness to learn and develop expertise in this area.
- Understanding of Oracle's configure-to-order (CTO) process and its integration with manufacturing and procurement modules.
- Knowledge of Oracle Configurator development module is a bonus.
- Strong analytical and logical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to best practices.
- Self-motivated and ready to take initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
