Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Executive to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Executive at Unilift Cargo Systems in Mumbai. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Management, Communication, and Procurement on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of material handling equipment and chemicals, contributing to the overall success of our Operations & Maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase material handling equipment and chemicals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products.

Vendor Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors, conduct negotiations, and establish long-term partnerships.
• Monitor vendor performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

Cost Control:

• Implement cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising on quality or efficiency.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Logistics, and Maintenance, to understand their procurement needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role.
• Knowledge of material handling equipment and chemical procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
