Job Responsibilities - The role seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Planning and Control Engineer to join the dynamic team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective planning, monitoring, and control of projects to meet organizational goals and objectives. The Project Planning and Control Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilizing their expertise in project management, scheduling, and control methodologies to optimize project outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Employ industry-standard project management methodologies to create detailed project schedules and timelines.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
- Identify project requirements, objectives, and constraints, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Utilize project management tools and software to create Gantt charts, PERT charts, and other planning documents.
- Conduct Critical Path & float analysis with the help of primavera P6.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure resource availability and optimize project team performance.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and uncertainties.
- Implement risk response strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Regularly review and update risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project progress and performance against established schedules and milestones, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Experience in finding, creating, and defining job-oriented project control processes, as well as determining the degree of resources necessary to run them.
- Develop & Maintain the Project Controls related Plans & Procedure.
- Participate in Kick-offs and Ongoing meetings with the Engineering, Procurement & Construction Contractors to ensure common understanding of Project Controls requirements.
- Preparation of detailed Estimation of both , Quantities & Amount for projects.
- Involved in preparation of bid feasibility analysis during bidding stage.
- Preparation of Sensitivity analysis for multiple factors considered for bid preparation.
- Prepare Market & Competitor trend analysis.
- Prepare management control tools for monitoring & driving the progress through Digital Planning Module.
- Prepare Job Cost Report for Projects .
- Review and endorse Progress and cost / Schedule baseline and forecast prepared by Contractors.
- Involved in preparation of Control sheets & Reconciliation for multiple activities.
- Assess and allocate resources efficiently to ensure project timelines are met.
- Monitor resource utilization and implement adjustments as necessary.
