Position: Design Manager

Roles & responsibilities:

· Leading an assignment of hi-end interior finishing works for workplace designs and built.

· Acting as a single point of contact for the client and being responsible for overall strategy formulation, planning strategy, procurement strategy, execution strategy, cost management, and overall delivery tracking through the duration of the project.

· Leading the coordination and ensuring deliverables from other project consultants are in line with project requirements and aligned with best industry practices.

· Directing and managing project delivery team (design, procurement, and site) performance of delegated responsibilities and achieving project goals.

· Interfacing directly with clients to define project requirements, prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements and supply chain, cost estimate and budget, project schedule, quality and HSE control and risk identification.

· Implementing an appropriate and effective project management framework.

· Managing project cost plan including risk allowance.

· Monitoring and controlling changes/variations.

· Identifying project risks, developing risk mitigation and contingency plans and implementing action plans to mitigate project risks.

· Establishing and preparing formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client and company.

· Supervising the monitoring and reporting of the contractors' progress against the expectations of their contracts from all perspectives.

· Coordinating and fostering teamwork between all project stakeholders.

Qualifications

· 12-15 year's professional experience including proven track record of contributing to the design of commercial, retail or hospitality interiors projects • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of design

· Strong planning abilities and have the ability to mentor team members, offer guidance and leadership

· Strong skills in client relationship management and presentation

· Must be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve both individually and as a part of a project team

· Proficiency in the use of Revit and other 3D computer design programs

· Proficient in Creative Adobe Suite applications specifically in design

· Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials and specifications

· Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas

· Strong organizations skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
