Duration: 12 Months
10 Years SAP Netweaver (Abap and Java) SAP Basis SAP Performance Management experience
Experience with HANA Oracle AIX & Suse Linux OS. Knowledge of virtualization Active Directory and Single Signon (550)
Working Knowledge and understanding of cloud infrastructure with SAP Cloud Platform. Experience in using SAP Solution Manager for overall system monitoring.
Knowledge of clustering and highly available systems. Knowledge of SAP platform Security set up (e.g. secinfo & saprouter).
The SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for day to day operations of several SAP Landscapes. This role will also have responsibilities that include installation and setup of new servers and landscapes patch application system performance
tuning system copy and client copy.
Experience in monitoring analyzing and resolving ABAP dumps and database locks. Experience in SAP kernel updates SAP plugin landscape management
transports printer setups and troubleshooting.
Be responsible for Basis administration to analyze configure and monitor the SAP technical environment and operations including interfaces SAP contacts transports system copies and other technical responsibilities.
Production support and daily operational activities related to the SAP environment including object transports setup/configuration operational SAP
monitoring troubleshooting Analyzing the error handling performance tuning and problem determination/resolution. System refreshes based on Database dependent or Database independent methods.
Upgrade SAP Kernels Complex SAP OSS Notes Implementations Apply addons and support packages.
Ensure compliance to internal security policies procedures and control sets.
Use of SAP tools like SUM SWPM etc. Provides production support of multitiered environment with strong experience in analyzing SAP Work Processes RFC processing/Groups user logon activity Batch Jobs performance monitoring and Server groups
Responsible for proactive system monitoring and Performance tuning for all SAP systems. This includes key performance indicators and trend reporting.
Support and work through various Basis Functions with multiple teams like the SAP functional Technical Infrastructure and Job scheduling/Workload automation tools Work with vendors and teams to troubleshoot issues independently research functionality automation and solutions.
Utilize Monitoring tools such as solution manager for analysis troubleshooting taking preventive actions on repeating alerts. Perform planning and execution of regular system maintenance and patching of SAP AIX Linux Windows systems and applications. Available to cover oncall support schedules on a rotating basis 24x7 including weekends and holidays when necessary. Review and create technical troubleshooting process documents as needed.
