Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework within the Early Years setting.
- Planning and delivering engaging developmentally appropriate lessons that cater to individual learning needs and promote inquirybased learning.
- Creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity exploration and socialemotional development.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary units of inquiry that align with IB standards and cater to the holistic growth of students.
- Assessing student progress through ongoing observation formative assessments and authentic tasks while maintaining accurate records of their development.
- Establishing positive partnerships with parents/guardians to foster a cohesive learning community and provide regular updates on students progress.
- Actively participating in professional development opportunities and staying updated on best practices in Early Years education and IB pedagogy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education Primary Education or a relevant field. IB certification or experience with the IB curriculum is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working with children in an Early Years setting demonstrating a strong understanding of child development and educational methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students parents and colleagues.
- Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports the social emotional and academic growth of young learners.
- Adaptability creativity and a passion for fostering inquirybased learning experiences.
