The Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a key role in supporting the overall management and operation of the restaurant
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, this individual will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff.
Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.
Customer Service:
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and feedback.
Monitor and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Lead by example in providing exceptional service to guests.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures.
Financial Management:
Assist in budgeting and financial planning.
Monitor and control operational costs.
Contribute to revenue generation through effective upselling and promotions.
Quality Control:
Ensure the consistency and quality of food and beverage offerings.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Address and resolve any issues related to food quality or service.
Staff Development:
Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Identify and nurture talent within the team.
Communication:
Foster open communication between the front and back of the house.
Communicate effectively with the management team and staff.
Collaborate with vendors and other external partners.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
