Job Summary

If you are seeking a career in Supplier Development, then Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in India, the Assistant Manager - Supplier Development will support the business by improving the Supply Chain performance on Cost, Speed, Delivery, and Cash perspective. The position will manage the development of parts with foundries and ensure project timelines are met. They will also act as a Foundry / Machining expert and work directly with suppliers for the development of Castings and structured problem-solving to implement improvement programs in all World Area regions. They will drive time-bound developments of new castings and leading the Technical Feasibility review process with Foundries. The role will assess and develop the Foundries through regular Process Assessments to enable them to deliver the level of performance required by our customers. They will work closely with Product Supply Chain Leaders, Buyers, Material Managers, and Quality Managers to drive Chronic issues resolution through the root cause and countermeasure (RCCM) process.
