Company Description
Muthoot Microfin Limited is a leading microfinance institution focused on providing micro-loans to women customers predominantly in rural regions of India. The institution provides financial assistance through micro loans such as income generating loans to women engaged in small businesses. The company follows the joint liability group (JLG) model of microfinance. Clients are organized in groups of four to ten women from economically weaker sections of society, living in rural and semi-urban areas or urban slums.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Relationship Officer located in Mysore. The Relationship Officer will be responsible for day-to-day customer relationship management to acquire new clients/customers and retain existing ones, meet with them regularly and maintain relationships. Implent the company's Joint Liability Group model of microfinance and collect repayments. Develop the local network by building and maintaining good relationships with key influencers and customers. Conducting training sessions for clients on business operations, banking process, and company policies as required.
Qualifications
- Business Relationship Management and Sales skills
- Experience in Finance, preferably in the microfinance sector
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and to meet targets effectively and efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications or related field
- Experience in providing financial assistance through micro-loans
- Local language fluency is required
