About the team:

The Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) acts on behalf of the Enterprise (agnostic to Issuer and Acquirer) to develop and enable products and capabilities for the American Express Global Network (AEGN).

The Network Settlement Solutions team within NAS, is primarily responsible for transferring funds between American Express (AXP) and GNS Partners or ATM Service Providers, managing the related contractual fees, and resolving ATM billing discrepancies or Disputes.

Purpose of the role:

TheATM Settlementsteam within NAS is responsible for managing financial settlements with ATM Proprietary Partners whilst also ensure avoiding partner exposure that may arise due to delayed or incorrect settlement. The aim of the Network Settlement Solutions Team is to provide an exceptional service experience to our Business Partners and to be a Centre of Excellence for settlement solutions related to these internal or external partners. As an operational team we work closely with multiple business partners in the fast-paced world of payments. And thus, this role will be to process critical ATM Settlement manual partner payments, Accounting & Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts & is required to collaborate with the ATM operations team in India and Liasoning with Partner relationship mangers & Strategic relationship teams based in the UK.

Principal Accountabilities are -

. Drive Transformation and Process Improvements within the process consistently identifying opportunities to improve and drive forward initiatives related to servicing quality, TAT and ATM business.

. Processor of Partner payments using Global Pricing Platform and SCB Straight to Bank payments platform (multi-million US$ transactions).

. Person should have excellent Knowledge on ATM business and process linkage would be preferred.

. Efficient delivery of critical settlements and reconciling the partner transaction level reports to the internal authorization reports for ATM partners.

. Support PRSA, SOX testing, regulatory and internal Audit requests are completed in timely manner and ensure Nil observations for ATM Settlements Processes.

. Compliance or risk management experience and exposure to operating within a regulated environment is desired.

. Ensure integrity of daily processes within the ATM platforms, such as successful production of automated accounting entries.

. Participate in projects and initiatives to ensure applicable legal and regulatory requirements are met and incorporated into business processes with the appropriate level of controls.

. Support BCP Planning and Testing, participate in any other BCP exercise as per NAS critical BCP plan.

. Follow up with key linkages to deliver on operational expertise, outstanding inputs, Customer Query Management

Qualifications:

. Full time B. Com / Or Specialization in Commerce stream

. Advanced analytical skills, well organized, able to understand and communicate complex regulatory requirements and develop control recommendations.

. Strong working knowledge of banking industry products and services, in particular credit cards.

. Delivery on the core with high accuracy levels.

. Good knowledge of Oracle General Ledger system and Experience in posting multi-currency and inter-unit journal entries

. Strong analytical skill with the ability to identify the root cause of problems and have ability to exercise sounds judgment in support of team responsibilities.

. Strong Control and Compliance mind-set to ensure no control gaps exist which can cause brand damage or financial exposure.

. Get up to speed quickly and gain a good understanding of NAS Business and broad knowledge of ATM Settlements process.

. Good Teamwork ethic and Drive Results though Collaboration

. Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills to successfully interact, persuade and influence a broad spectrum of constituents at all organizational levels, including senior leadership teams.

. Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and proactively drive change forward.

. Flexible and engaging team member with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.

. Should have tenured 12 months or more in current role position and flexible to adapt to Shift timings as per business volumes.

. An In-depth and applicable knowledge of MS Office Applications
