Job Description:
The E-commerce Accountant & Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, monitoring and analyzing accounting data, and produce financial reports or statements. They will also be responsible for establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Responsibilities:
- Accounting Management: Â Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- E-commerce Accounting: Â Manage all e-commerce related accounting activities. This includes sales reconciliation, returns, inventory management, and cost analysis.
- Warehousing: Â Oversee warehouse operations to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient order fulfillment processes. Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Â Prepare accurate quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Budgeting: Â Develop and manage financial plans and budgets.
- Team Management: Â Manage and lead a team of accountants. Provide coaching and guidance to the team members as needed.
Zoho Accounting:
- Proficiency in using Zoho Books for managing company finances.
Flipkart & Amazon Accounting:
- Familiarity with the financial systems of major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon.
Warehouse Management System (WMS):
- Experience with WMS software for managing and optimizing warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
MIS Reporting:
- Data Analysis: Â Ability to use functions like VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, etc. for data analysis.
- Pivot Tables: Â Proficiency in creating and managing Pivot Tables for data summarization.
