Job description
As a Store Manager in a beauty shop, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing staff, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will be a key player in maintaining the store's brand image, meeting financial targets, and fostering a positive working environment.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Schedule employee shifts and manage staffing levels to meet operational needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues promptly and effectively.
Sales and Customer Service:
- Drive sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and promotional strategies.
- Ensure that all customers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly and knowledgeable shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Place orders for merchandise, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Manage inventory shrinkage and implement loss prevention measures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including display areas and back storage.
- Monitor and manage store expenses, including payroll, supplies, and utilities.
- Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
- Coordinate in-store events, promotions, and product demonstrations to engage customers and generate excitement.
- Utilize social media platforms and other marketing channels to promote the store and its products.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the beauty industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving business results.
- Proficiency in inventory management and operational processes.
- Knowledge of beauty products, trends, and brands.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
