Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Counter Salesperson to join prestigious jewelry and diamond showroom. The ideal candidate should have a passion for jewelry, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Counter Salesperson, you will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our clients and contributing to the overall success of the showroom.

Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:
Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the showroom.
Understand customers' preferences and guide them through the selection process, offering expert advice on jewelry and diamonds.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering personalized service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge:
Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the jewelry and diamond collections available in the showroom.
Stay informed about industry trends, gemstone qualities, and jewelry craftsmanship to effectively communicate product features to customers.

Sales and Upselling:
Actively participate in sales activities, including promoting special offers, new arrivals, and upselling complementary products.
Meet and exceed sales targets through effective communication and persuasion techniques.

Transaction Processing:
Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
Maintain a tidy and organized workstation, ensuring the showroom's visual appeal is consistently high.

Customer Education:
Educate customers on the 4 Cs (cut, color, clarity, and carat) of diamonds, helping them make informed purchase decisions.
Provide information on jewelry care, cleaning, and maintenance to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Collaboration :
Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Communicate customer feedback and preferences to management for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Need 4 to 6 yrs exp in Diamond jewelry background

Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewelry industry.
Knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry trends.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Basic computer skills for transaction processing.

Working Conditions:
This position involves standing for extended periods and occasional weekend and holiday work.
