Job Summary: The Purchase Executive will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of the company ensuring costeffective procurement of goods and services and managing supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of market trends exhibit strong negotiation skills and have a proven track record of effective supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop lead and execute purchasing strategies.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.
- Assess manage and mitigate risks.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management logistics business administration or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Purchase Executive.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- A knack for negotiation and networking.
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures.
- Solid judgment along with decisionmaking skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
