Zycus
is looking out for a Lead - Operations Research with an experience of at least 3+ years. Candidates with excellent knowledge in understanding the business requirements and translating into mathematical model. The model is built up of Operations Research (OR) models to facilitate the decision making process of the firm. Lead - Operations Research will handle large scale optimization and built reusable and software products using optimizers like ILOG CPLEX, Gurobi aimed for industrial use and decision making in proper planning. The selected candidate is responsible to develop heuristics or algorithms to solve large scale problems. He/She should be developing and delivering software products implemented in programming languages like Python, C, C++, Java and should be well-versed to statistical software packages like R, SPSS, SAS etc. The Role & Responsibilities Of The Position Would Include: To Create and maintain heuristics or algorithms to solve sourcing optimization problems To be a Committed and highly motivated team player with good communication skill To Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders Skills & Experience Requirement Education Qualification: PHD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) or a Masters degree in Operations Research/Operations Management from IIT/NIT Experience Level: 3+ years Knowledge/Experience in using optimizer and solvers Handling optimization based software and mathematical modelling knowledge Experience in using optimizer such as ILOG CPLEX, Gurobi, X-PRESS Familiarity with programming languages like Python, C, C++, Java Five Reasons Why You Should Join Zycus 1.
