Job description

Job Overview:

As Head of Business Development at Deepali designs , you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our client base in the event industry. You will play a critical role in building relationships, and developing strategies to meet and exceed sales and marketing targets. This position reports to the MD .

Your location will be at our Head Office Delhi Rajouri Garden.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of government & PSU sector events and identify potential clients through tendering and RFP projects.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, departments, and key stakeholders to understand their event needs and objectives.

Tendering Expertise: Navigate government procurement processes, including preparing and submitting successful bids, proposals, and tender documents.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies tailored to the government sector, including identifying target projects and clients.

Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure government contracts for various types of events, including conferences, seminars, training programs, and official ceremonies.

Collaboration: Work closely with the internal event planning and execution teams to ensure successful delivery of government sector events.

Compliance: Ensure all events and activities meet government regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.

Reporting: Maintain detailed records of government sector sales activities, client interactions, and project progress.

Networking: Attend government-related industry events, meetings, and conferences to expand the company's network and promote our event services.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or client Servicing within the events industry.

A strong background in government liaison, government agency relationships, and navigating government procurement processes.

Extensive knowledge of government tendering procedures, including the ability to read and fill out tender documents.

A well-established network and connections in the government sector, particularly in relation to event contracts.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and acquiring new business accounts.

Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and lead a business development team.

Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
