Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Manager located in Ahmedabad. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:

1. Strategically managing the warehouse in compliance with the company's policies and vision

2. Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations

3. Setting up the layout and ensuring efficient space utilization

4. Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

5. Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements

6. Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system

7. Prepare annual budget

8. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies

9. Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results

10. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.)

11. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Qualifications

• Expertise in stock control, inventory control, and inventory management
• Experience in operations management and forklift operation
• Proven track record of managing warehouse teams
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is preferred
• Experience in the E-commerce industry is a plus
