Job description
You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire manufacturing process of our writing instruments. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence within a manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Head will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in line with the company's goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
# Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide leadership in the development and execution of manufacturing plans.
# Operational Excellence:
Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process, from raw material procurement to finished product assembly.
Implement best practices to ensure product quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve manufacturing performance.
# Team Management:
Lead and inspire a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between manufacturing and other departments.
# Resource Planning:
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
Manage capacity planning, manpower allocation, and production forecasting.
Ensure the availability of raw materials and coordinate with the procurement team for timely supplies.
# Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to identify and address areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the quality control team to drive continuous improvement in product quality.
# Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility.
Implement and monitor safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
