Job description
- Develop and lead the supply chain- planning strategy for all API / Formulations / Development sites across India. Partner with the business site leaders to integrate supply chain process with the business.
- Lead Demand Planning and Supply Planning function to improve the accuracy of revenue forecasts, align inventory levels, enhance serviceability, lead the delivery scheduling processes and develop scheduling philosophy with manufacturing team to ensure timely delivery, and reduce end-to-end COGS and working capital.
- Lead the development and implementation of technology initiatives for improving the Planning operations and bring in best in class tools and processes.
- Lead the execution of plans leading to revenue recognition ensure customer service for all businesses out of India sites.

Experience
Preferred experience of 15+ years in Supply Chain with knowledge on industry regulations and framework with strong Interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global SOP processes to enable organization to meet demand and profitability objectives
- Drives the Demand/Supply Scenario planning, enabling aligned action plans across operations
- Capacity management for Piramal to align demand with ability to service in short term and long term.
- Oversees supply performance reporting and Serviceability
- Establish Inventory Management process and operations by ensuring effective implementation of inventory norms in order to maximize availability while optimizing inventory levels.
- Drives Analytics, Process Improvement system utilization to enable effectiveness and efficiency gains.
- Build and manage key relationships with internal cross functional teams to create an integrated end-to-end supply chain that is effective, efficient and adaptive to new challenges
- Ensure best in class Planning team by people development and driving tactical and strategic initiatives within the team
- Track and manage Supply Chain KPIs to generate business relevant reports
- Collaborate with business to generate relevant analytics use cases
- Build robust planning team across unit drive a metric driven performance culture.
- The SC SPOC for the center of excellence for API Formulation business globally.
