Job description
Responsible and Accountable for achieving goals & targets of Loco & Mobile Equipment, carrying out inspection, maintenance and upkeep of locomotives and mobile equipment in
a safe and efficient manner by providing technical support to employees & contract partners. Also responsible for breakdown elimination through proper root cause analysis and
continuous improvement. Availability of Loco to Blast Furnace and availability of mobile equipment and Slag pot carrier for SMS to be made up to desired level. Responsible for
spare Management & cost of Maintenance within allocated budget for these equipment. Adverse affect on production & loss of Production to be minimized.
Skills - Awareness of all the safety standards and plant specific hazards and legal requirements.
- Knowledge of Maintenance activities, CCPM, Failure mode effect analysis/control plan (FMEA/CP) and trouble shooting capability.
- Competent in coordination with internal agencies, resource management capability.
- Awareness and active participation in all TQM initiatives. Other details MQ: BE / BTech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Must have Skills: Maintenance of Steel Plant Mobile Equipment and Loco.
