Job description
- Hands on Experience in Perimeter firewall: Checkpoint R80.40, Cisco ASA Firewall Cisco Firepower, F5 Load Balancer, basic LAN Switching/Nexus Switches and Routing
- Network Security operation experience starting from initiation configuration part to closure, troubleshooting and handling escalated calls like P1, P2.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Vendor and third-party management experience
- Experience in project management and presentation tools like, PPT, Excel, etc.
- Manage schedules along with risk/issue tracker for timely closure of the projects
- Basic understanding of Network security architectures for On Prem and Cloud.
- Document constraints and rationale, provide traceability between Network security requirements and security solutions to support business justification
- Articulate the business benefits of Network security controls to business/technical customers and help them identify future efficiency opportunities
- Should have implemented the small product right from the scratch
- Should have good knowledge on networking fundamentals and from network security background
- Good understanding of OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP,FTP, TFTP)
- Routing protocols like BGP & OSPF
- Configurations on switches for VLAN, Inter VLAN routing, STP, VTP, HSRP
- Working technical knowledge in any one of current network hardware such as Anti-DDoS, firewalls, Switches, VPN, Load balancers, Redware, WAF technologies.
- Working knowledge in any one of the OEMs
- Should be flexible for rotational shift, working hours and good team player
- Good to have endpoint security knowledge
- Should have excellent communication
