Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely processing of financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met and provide support as needed.
- Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; CPA or similar certification preferred.
- Proven experience working in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
