Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of mobile developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans. Architect, design, and implement complex mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development and advocate for the adoption of new technologies and best practices. Optimise mobile applications for performance and memory usage to ensure a smooth user experience across a variety of Android devices. Ensure the team follows the Agile development methodology, holding regular sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to maintain project timelines and efficiency. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues, and promote best practices among team members. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team, identifying opportunities to enhance development processes and tools to increase productivity. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, bugs, and performance issues in mobile applications, collaborating with team members to find optimal solutions. Coordinate with QA engineers to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to deliver high-quality, bug-free mobile apps. Oversee the release management process, ensuring smooth deployment of mobile applications to app stores and managing post-release updates and bug fixes. Collaborate with other team leads and managers to align development efforts, share knowledge, and foster a cohesive and collaborative work environment. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and report project status to senior management and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a mobile developer with expertise in developing applications for Android platforms (Good to have iOS). At least 6-8 years of experience in mobile app development, with proficiency in Java/Kotlin for Android and good to have Swift for iOS. Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices for both Android and iOS. Experience with mobile development frameworks, tools, and libraries for both Android and iOS platforms. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of developers. Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks and experience in writing unit and integration tests for Android apps. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, continuous integration, and version control systems, such as Git. Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex mobile projects within tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering robust and scalable mobile applications. Experience in performance optimization, memory profiling, and debugging tools for Android. Experience with cross-platform development using frameworks like Flutter(Good to have). Familiarity with Firebase or other cloud-based services for mobile app development(Good to have).Job tags
