Job Description: As a 2D Spine Animator with 0-2 years of experience, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations using the Spine software tool or similar software. Your animations will bring characters, objects, and environments to life in 2D games,

interactive applications, or other digital media projects. You will collaborate with a team of artists, designers, and developers to ensure that the animations align with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the project.

Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality animations for characters, objects, and environments using Spine or other relevant software tools. Ensure smooth and realistic movement, appealing poses, and expressive performances. Collaborate with artists and designers to integrate animations into the game engine or other platforms. Ensure seamless integration and functionality of animations within the project. Interpret design briefs, storyboards, and other project documentation to understand the animation requirements, visual style, and technical limitations. Translate these requirements into animations that meet the project's needs. Work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure animations align with the overall artistic vision and technical constraints of the project. Collaborate on the iteration process to refine and improve animations based on feedback. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of animations to identify and resolve issues, such as visual glitches, clipping, or timing problems. Ensure animations meet the highest quality standards and are free of errors. Maintain accurate documentation of animation assets, processes, and workflows. Communicate effectively with team members, providing progress updates and seeking clarification when needed.

Requirements:

Education: A degree or diploma in animation, game development, computer graphics, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Animation Skills: Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and motion. Proficiency in 2D animation software, such as Spine, Adobe Animate, or Toon Boom Harmony. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) and their animation systems. Understanding of file formats, optimization techniques, and animation pipelines. Creativity and Artistic Sense: Ability to bring characters and objects to life through expressive and appealing animations. A keen eye for detail, composition, and visual storytelling. Collaboration Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with artists, designers, and developers. Openness to receiving and incorporating feedback to improve animations. Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced production environment. Portfolio: A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your animation skills and creativity is highly recommended.
