Job description

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required skills: Good knowledge of the structural (Durability) and vibration (NVH) analyses using the finite element method. Know-how of the FE analyses such as linear/non-linear static analysis, thermal analysis, modal analysis, frequency response analysis, random response analysis, fatigue analysis and sealing analysis etc. Hands-on experience of the FEA tools such as ANSA/HYPERMESH, META/HYPERVIEW, ANSYS, PERMAS, LS-DYNA, ABAQUS and OPTISTRUCT would be preferred. Knowledge of the PYTHON/JAVA scripting or any programming language for an automation will be an added advantage.

Role and responsibilities: Responsible for project execution with good quality as per the MAHLE standards/guidelines within agreed timeline. Perform input review to ensure the correct inputs/assumptions required for an analysis. Building the 3D models using the 1D/2D/3D elements, analysis, post-processing, and report preparation as per standard guideline. Discussion of the results with team leader/requestor and recommending the design changes to enhance a product performance. Validation of the simulation results with a product test data depending on specific requirement. Mentoring one or two team members on MAHLE products and processes. Involvement in continuous improvement projects with innovative ideas and support for developing new methods/processes. Align behavior and activities to achieve the department and organization goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Design, Automotive and CAD/CAM) Industry Preference: Automotive/Aerospace/Home Appliances/Engineering Services Work experience - 5 to 8 Years Additional Qualification/Certification: FEA certification course if any

Special Requirement: Hands on experience on e-mobility products like Traction motor, ePumps, Compressor, On board charger etc. Should be able to perform Linear, Non-linear, Static, Dynamic, Fatigue, NVH Structural simulations.
