Position Overview
Job Title: Cashflow Analyst
We are seeking a meticulous and analytically-minded Cashflow Analyst to join our finance team. The Cashflow Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting cashflow activities to ensure the company's liquidity needs are met. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Monitor daily cashflow activities, including cash receipts, disbursements, and bank transactions.
- Analyze historical cashflow data to identify trends and patterns that may impact future liquidity.
- Develop and maintain cashflow forecasting models to project future cash inflows and outflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights for cashflow analysis.
- Identify opportunities to optimize cashflow processes and improve cash management efficiency.
- Assess liquidity risks and propose strategies to mitigate potential cashflow challenges.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing cashflow analysis findings for senior management.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact cashflow projections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cashflow policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide recommendations for cashflow optimization strategies, such as working capital management, debt restructuring, or investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA Inter/Foundation, CS) is a plus.
- Proven experience (3 years) in cashflow analysis, financial planning, or treasury management roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting concepts, and cashflow management techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with cashflow forecasting tools and financial software systems (e.g., ERP systems, Treasury Management Systems) is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
