Job Summary:
As the Partner and Head of Public Relations for VCK Communications in Delhi-NCR, you will lead the PR department, overseeing all public relations activities and ensuring they align with both our clients' objectives and our agency's strategic goals. This senior role requires a visionary leader with exceptional expertise in public relations, media relations, and client management. You will be responsible for shaping the agency's PR strategies, nurturing client relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement overarching PR strategies that effectively communicate clients' narratives and achieve their objectives. Ensure integration of PR campaigns with broader marketing and communication strategies.
- Team Management and Development : Lead and mentor a team of PR professionals. Oversee their professional development, ensuring the team is up-to-date with the latest PR trends and practices.
- Client Relationship Management : Act as a senior advisor to key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Ensure client satisfaction and retention through high-quality service and strategic counsel.
- Media Relations and Networking : Establish and nurture relationships with key media, influencers, and industry leaders. Leverage these relationships to enhance agency and client visibility.
- Crisis Management Expertise : Lead crisis communication strategies, advising clients and teams in managing and mitigating PR crises effectively.
- New Business Development : Drive the growth of the PR department through new client acquisition and business development strategies. Lead pitches and proposals to secure new accounts.
- Agency Reputation and Branding : Uphold and enhance the agency's reputation in the market. Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and in the media.
- Financial and Operational Oversight : Manage the PR department's budget, resources, and operations to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Professional Experience : At least 5+ years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record in a leadership role. Experience in the hospitality and lifestyle sectors is highly advantageous.
- Educational Background : Bachelor's or master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of PR professionals.
- Exceptional Communication Skills : Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Strategic Thinking and Innovation : Strong capability in strategic planning and implementing innovative PR campaigns.
- Business Acumen : Strong understanding of business development, client relationship management, and financial oversight.
- Networking and Relationship Building : Excellent networking skills with a well-established media and industry contacts list.
- Flexibility and Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing market trends and client needs.
