Job description
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player will handle all the resources and coordination from a technical standpoint. You must set and achieve objectives, ensure both top quality and control of the project, handle client interaction, and act as the subject expert.
Responsibilities Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders. Create a detailed project plan, including tasks, milestones, and timelines. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, including developers, testers, and other team members. Ensure that the team has the necessary skills and capacity to deliver the project successfully. Technical Expertise: Possess strong Java programming skills and technical knowledge to understand the intricacies of the project, guide the team, and make informed decisions. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize disruptions. Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and changes. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the Java codebase follows best practices and coding standards. Implement testing strategies to maintain the quality of the software being developed. Scope Management: Monitor and control project scope to prevent scope creep and ensure that the project stays aligned with its original objectives. Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources efficiently to ensure the project stays within budgetary constraints. Change Management: Handle changes in project scope, requirements, or timelines by assessing the impact, obtaining necessary approvals, and adjusting the project plan accordingly. Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment within the development team and across other departments. Encourage open communication and knowledge sharing. Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of project requirements, design decisions, codebase, and other relevant information for future reference. Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals and expectations. Vendor Management: If applicable, manage relationships with third-party vendors or partners involved in the project. Performance Monitoring: Track project performance metrics, such as timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions if needed. Continuous Improvement: Encourage the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and process improvements to enhance the team's efficiency and project outcomes.
