Job description
Position Title: Project Engineer
Work Location : Panaji, Goa Position Summary : We are looking for a Project Engineer for our office. The role will be to be at the construction site to oversee adherence to design and quality of workmanship. The Engineer will act as a representative of the Architect to flag design issues and construction lapses. Responsibilities: Review GFC drawings & tender specifications. Review & flag workmanship issues as per drawing and specifications. Day-to-day co-ordination with Architect/Consultants team. Coordinate sample approval process and Mock-up execution. Visit the site(s) at regular intervals, review and document site quality issues, and prepare site visit reports. Review & issue quality / workmanship observation reports. Keep the design and project management team updated on site progress. Prepare draft presentations for construction status meetings. Maintain site documentations as per the defined SOPs Maintain trackers for various site activities. Coordinate for closure of request for Information (RFIs), technical data sheet (TDS) and shop drawings from the site and maintain log thereof. Education: Mandatory: A bachelor's or diploma in civil engineering / construction management Experience: Years: 1-5 years Industry: Construction Management Skills (Mandatory): Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English and Hindi Understanding of standard construction methodology Good interpersonal skills. Planning and organising skills. High proficiency in MS office Understanding of drawings and standards. Skills (Preferred): Architectural building system, Material application. Salary based will be as per industry standards Minimum 1 year experience could get a salary of 2.5 - 3 LPAJob tags
