Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote the organization and its products or services. This role encompasses a wide range of activities, including digital advertising, social media marketing, email marketing, and content development. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for driving brand awareness, leads, and ultimately sales through various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and optimize various digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, social media, email, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing efforts using various tools and platforms, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and optimize landing pages and user funnels for maximum conversion.
  • Create and manage the content calendar, ensuring a constant supply of relevant content across all digital platforms.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
  • Manage and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners when required.
  • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Identify and evaluate new digital technologies and use web analytics tools to measure site traffic to better optimize marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media, and display and search advertising.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly in the areas of SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Certification in Digital Marketing is a plus.
