Production Manager Experience-5 years+ Location- Kolkata Industry - Retail Apparel Fashion About Company- It is one of the leading organizations in the retail fashion and luxury segment. About role- The person will be handling the whole production process, and will also look after the Quality Assurance, Planning and Strategy, cost control, and Budgeting. Job Role-1. Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement effective production plans to meet sales demands and also take care of resource utilization. Ensure the scheduling of production activities to meet delivery timelines. 2. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that products meet quality standards. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any production-related quality issues. 3. Cost Control and Budgeting: Manage production costs within budgetary constraints. Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures if/where possible. Regularly analysis of production expenses and work on cost efficiency without compromising product quality. 4. Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve the overall production and performance of the production team 5. Team Leadership and Development: Provide effective leadership to the production team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork. Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development within the production team. 6. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and associated carrying costs.Job tags
