Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as an Office Manager with HR Responsibilities located in Chennai. The Office Manager with HR Responsibilities will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office, overseeing administrative staff, handling office finances, and managing office supplies. Additionally, the Office Manager with HR Responsibilities will be responsible for overseeing human resources functions such as recruitment, performance management, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily administrative operations of the office, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment for our engineers. Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities, including liaising with vendors and service providers. Coordinate office maintenance and repair work, ensuring a safe and pleasant working environment. Support HR functions such as onboarding new hires, processing payroll, managing employee records, and implementing company policies. Assist in planning and executing team events, meetings, and off-sites to foster team spirit and collaboration. Serve as the point of contact for office-related queries and provide administrative support to the engineering team. Coordinate with the finance department to manage office budgets and expenses. Implement and maintain procedures/office administrative systems to improve efficiency. Liaise with HR to facilitate performance review processes and address employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Assist in health and safety management, including conducting risk assessments and safety training.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably in a tech or engineering environment. Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices, excluding recruitment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both management and engineering teams. Proficiency in MS Office and office management software. Knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance relevant to HR and office administration. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. A proactive, problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
