We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a SOX Audit Associate. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates looking to kickstart their career in auditing and gain experience in SOX compliance.
Responsibilities - Assist in the planning and execution of SOX compliance audits, including scoping, risk assessment, and control testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and document internal controls and processes.
- Review and evaluate financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Conduct tests of controls to verify their effectiveness and identify control deficiencies.
- Document findings and assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of audit workpapers and documentation.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to SOX compliance.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic audit environment.
- Familiarity with audit methodologies and SOX compliance is a plus but not required.
