Location-Andheri, Mumbai (WFO)

Experience-0-2 Years

Budget-2.52 LPA (for freshers) and 3.60 LPA (for experienced)

Notice period-Immediate-30 days.

Shift timings-Days shift but there will be night shift as well whenever required.

Gender preference-Male

Interview process- 2 virtual rounds + 1 F2F.

Working days-6 days for initial 3 months then 5 days working

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and optimizing our database systems, primarily focusing on MongoDB and MySQL. Responsibilities:

1. Database Management:

- Administer and manage Relational [MySQL] and Non-relational [MongoDB] database systems.

- Monitor database performance and ensure its stability, reliability, and availability.

- Ensure data security, including user access and data encryption.

- Manage and monitor database backups and data restoration processes.

2. Performance Tuning:

- Identify and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.

- Optimize MongoDB and MySQL queries and database configurations to improve performance.

3. Data Restoration:

- Develop and implement effective data backup and restoration strategies.

- Perform routine data restoration tests to ensure data recoverability.

4.Database Design and Development:

- Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain database structures.

- Implement indexing and schema changes based on application requirements.

5.Security and Compliance:

- Manage database security, including user roles and permissions.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including GDPR.

6. Documentation:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations and processes.

- Create and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.

7. Automation:

- Develop and maintain database automation scripts and tools to streamline tasks.

- Ensure automation is in place for daily DB archival and restoration along with relevant teams 

- Develop ETL jobs for data management, fine tune ETL queries and have relevant alerts in place 

8.Monitoring and Alerts:

- Implement database monitoring and alerting solutions.

- Respond to and resolve alerts related to database performance and security.

9.Database Upgrades:

- Plan and execute database system upgrades and patches.

10. Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment.

- Provide technical guidance and support to developers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in MySQL and MongoDB.

- Strong knowledge of database design, implementation, and optimization.

- Experience with data backup and restoration techniques.

- Familiarity with database security and compliance standards.

- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.

- Solid understanding of automation tools and scripting languages.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Education and Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

- Relevant certifications (e.g., MongoDB Certified Professional, MySQL

Database Administrator) are a plus.
